Learning to live while you feel like you’re dying is an extraordinary feat and one that Omita can help others accomplish with her story. Today’s podcast is a celebration of life and we would like to thank our guest @omitagaikwad for joining us.

Cancer is the uncontrolled development of cells in a specific part of the body. These cancerous cells can invade and destroy surroundings healthy tissue, including the organs. In the UK, someone is diagnosed with cancer every two minutes and about 165,000 people die from it every year.

Surviving cancer is anything but easy. Doing it once may be the toughest thing you ever do but for those who have done it more than once, it doesn’t get easier.

In this episode, Rajan stays in the UK and talks to Omita as part of the Fighters Season. Omita is a three-time cancer survivor who shared her innermost vulnerable moments via video with Rajan in the two week run up to her surgery. This is a recording of Omita post-surgery and a reflection of this journey.
